I grew up in San Diego, California and have lived in Oregon for most of my adult life (seriously, what kind of person leaves sunny San Diego for cold and rainy Oregon??). I love the mountains, the people, and yes, even the rain! Oregon is where my heart truly feels at home. I studied advertising and graphic design at a small school in San Diego and have enjoyed designing all kinds of things for over 25 years.
I’ve always been a hard worker. I spent many years of my life working in corporate America and doing my best to “fit in”- in fact, some of my fondest memories are the ten years I spent working for Nordstrom! It gave me a solid understanding of the importance of excellent customer service. It was a great job for me – I LOVE helping people!
Still, I always knew deep down inside that I wanted to run my own business and help others do the same.
One day, I found myself dreaming of being my own boss, so took a huge risk and I quit!
I followed my heart and started a very successful dog walking business. After several years, I felt ready for something new (something that involved some human interaction!) and I became a certified yoga instructor. Yoga led me back to design as the creative director for a Myrtle Beach yoga studio. Eventually, I convinced my husband to take me back to Oregon and Leg Up Creative was born.
I love working with entrepreneurs that want to make a difference. I have so much fun helping them take their business to the next level with branding, website design, and online marketing that is simple, fun, and effective. I love helping others SUCCEED.
